A model of mechanical system consisting of visco-elastic racket and rigid ball is introduced.
A class of optimal control problems according to the different cases of the termination of interaction during the impact are formalized. One task from this class is solved as an example of the general approach. The paradox phenomenon in geometric condition is considered as an optimal control problem.
